Details
Educated at St Bartholomew's Hospital and the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland. He was the second son of Lieut-Colonel Herbert Lloyd, of Chelsea. Settling as a medical practitioner in Bath in 1829, he practised there for more than forty years, holding various medical appointments. At the time of his death, and for many years previously, he was Physician to an Institution for Diseases of the Chest and Cancer, at Bath. In 1870 he was appointed JP. His death occurred after a long illness at his residence, 17 Bennett Street, on April 29th, 1874.
