Details
Educated at St Thomas's Hospital, and practised at Winchester and at Brighton. At the time of his death he was Consulting Surgeon (having previously been Surgeon) to the Hampshire County Hospital, County Gaol, and Police, Winchester. He died at Brighton on September 10th, 1873. Publications:- Lyford was at one time editor of the *Prov Med Gaz*. "Fatal Enlargement of the Tongue." - *Lancet*, 1827-8, i, 16.
