Details
Educated at Victoria College, St Helier's, Jersey, and in the Science Faculty of University College, London. In 1880 he entered University College Hospital and in 1885 was appointed House Surgeon. In October, 1886, he was made an Assistant Demonstrator of Anatomy and passed the FRCS examination. But signs of phthisis developed and he set out on a voyage to Australia. He arrived at Sydney moribund and died on April 18th, 1887.
