Details
Studied at the University of Cambridge, where he graduated BA from Trinity College in 1875, and at St George's Hospital, where he held the posts of House Surgeon, Surgical Registrar, Administrator of Anaesthetics, and Demonstrator of Anatomy. He practised at 15 Gloucester Street, Belgrave Road, London, SW, and was for a time Surgeon to the Belgrave Hospital for Children. By 1890 he had removed to 2 St James's Crescent, Winchester, where he was Medical Officer to Winchester College. Later his address was 37 Southgate Street, and he was Surgeon to the Hampshire Royal County Hospital. He retired at a comparatively early age and died at the Friary, Winchester, on July 20th, 1906.
