Details
Studied at Edinburgh, Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals. At Edinburgh he became a Member of the Royal Medical Society in 1823. He practised at the Mansion House, High Street, Stockport, Cheshire, in the firm of Medd & Son, and was Surgeon to the Stockport Infirmary. He supported vaccination, was a Corresponding Member of the National Vaccine Establishment, and Member of the Royal Jennerian and London Vaccine Institute. He died on July 3rd, 1862.
