Details
Born on July 10th, 1810, entered the Madras Army as Assistant Surgeon on November 27th, 1838, was promoted Surgeon on October 29th, 1854, and Surgeon Major on January 13th, 1860. He died at Port Blair, Andaman Islands, on February 11th, 1867. Between 1851 and 1854 he was one of the two editors of the *Madras Journal of Medical Science*, his co-editor being W G Flynn.
