Educated at St Bartholomew's Hospital, where he became Assistant Accoucheur. At the time of his death he was Senior Surgeon of the South Staffordshire Hospital and Wolverhampton Dispensary. He practised at Montford Place, Wolverhampton, and died there on May 24th, 1866.
