Was for a short period an Unconvenanted Medical Officer in Bengal. He was gazetted Civil Medical Officer of Moorshedabad in 1846. There is no note of when he left India. He practised latterly at Tracey Cottage, 22 Westbourne Villas, Harrow Road, W, where he was Public Vaccinator to Ward No 1, Paddington, and Surgeon to the Westbourne Dispensary. He died at his London address on June 4th, 1870.
