Details
Educated at King's College, London, of which he was an Associate. He entered the Indian Medical Service, and was at one time Professor of Anatomy at the Medical College, Calcutta, and Surgeon to the Medical College Hospital. He retired with the rank of Deputy Surgeon General, and practised at 32 Bassett Road, Notting Hill, W. He died on August 26th, 1896. Publications:- Pamphlets on the "Skin Diseases of India". "Means of Detecting Dhatoora and Aconite," 8vo, London, 1868; reprinted from *Ind Med Gaz*, 1867, ii, 29. *Reports on the Analysis of Potable Waters of Cantonments in the Presidency of Bengal*, fol, Calcutta, 1870.
