Details
Studied at University College and Hospital, where he gained an entrance exhibition and held the Atkinson-Morley Surgical Scholarship and the Atchison Scholarship, as well as the Filter Exhibition. He was Demonstrator of Anatomy in University College Medical School, was Prosector at the Royal College of Surgeons, and Scholar and Gold Medallist in Anatomy in the Intermediate MB London examination. He was for a time Assistant Medical Officer at the Darenth Asylum, Dartford, having successively held the positions of House Physician and House Surgeon at his old hospital. Joining the Indian Medical Service, he served for a time in India after 1903, and was gazetted Captain. His premature death occurred at St Albans on November 10th, 1907.
