Details
Educated at University College, London. He practised for some thirty-six years in South Molton, Devon, where he was at one time in partnership with Edwin Furse, MRCS. He was for many years Coroner for the South Molton district of Devonshire, and Medical Officer and Public Vaccinator to the 4th and 10th Districts of the South Molton Union and Workhouse. He was also Medical Officer to the Great Western Railway Provident Society, and Medical Referee to the Prudential and other Assurance Societies. His death occurred at his residence, 112 East Street, South Molton, on June 7th, 1904. He was survived by his widow and family. Publication: "Vesico-vaginal Fistula caused by Muscular Effort." - *Lancet,*1876, i, 727.
