Details
Graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge, after appearing as a Junior Optime in the Mathematical Tripos of June, 1882. He then entered Guy's Hospital, where he was House Physician. He first practised at Richmond House, Eliot Park, Blackheath, and soon moved to Surbiton Hill, Kingston-on-Thames, where for a time he was in partnership with William Henry Roots, MRCS. He was appointed Surgeon to the Surbiton Cottage Hospital, and was Medical Officer to the Hearts of Oak and Medical Referee to Assurance Companies. During the European War he was a Captain in the 2nd Surrey Volunteer Corps, and a Visiting Surgeon to the Kingston District Red Cross Hospital and to the Okenshaw Auxiliary Hospital. He had practised and resided at Lovelace Lodge, Surbiton. Taylor died suddenly after a mastoid operation on April 7th, 1921, being survived by his widow.
