Details
Educated at Guy's Hospital. He practised in Upper Clapton, NE, in partnership with his younger brother, Francis Toulmin (qv), and was Surgeon to the Stoke Newington and Clapton Dispensary and to the Invalid Asylum for Females, Stoke Newington. He was afterwards Consulting Surgeon to the Stamford Hill, Stoke Newington Dispensaries, and to the Invalid Asylum. He practised latterly at 36 Thurloe Square, South Kensington, and died there, after his retirement, on February 4th, 1883.
