Details
Joined the Army on August 29th, 1808, as Surgeon's Mate on the Hospital Staff, unattached. He was gazetted Assistant Surgeon to the 44th Foot on November 12th, 1803, and appointed on the Staff of the Royal Military College on May 8th, 1806. He exchanged to the Royal Waggon Train on June 18th, 1807, was gazetted Surgeon to the 6th Foot on June 15th, 1809, to the Staff on January 29th, 1809, to the 6th Foot on April 12th, 1812. He was for ten years on half pay until July 1st, 1824, when he was gazetted to the 98th Foot on July 1st and retired on half pay on the following December 9th, 1824. His active service included the Peninsular War (1808-1811). He died on March 13th, 1845.
