Details
Studied at King's College and Guy's Hospitals and in Paris. He began to practise in Reading in 1838, was at one time in partnership with William B Young, MRCS, Surgeon to Reading Dispensary and later Medical Officer to the Union. About 1881 he was in practice at Ramsgate. He later retired and returned to Eyreville, Erleigh Road, Reading, was specially devoted to chess, survived to be one of two original members of the Reading Pathological Society, and died on December 17th, 1891.
