Details
Educated at St Bartholomew's Hospital, where he was Medical and Surgical Scholar. He practised at Bedford, and was successively House Surgeon and Apothecary to the General Infirmary and Fever Hospital; Surgeon to the same institution; Consulting Surgeon; Medical Visitor of Houses licensed for Lunatics in the County of Bedford, and Consulting Surgeon of the Bedford Central Provident Dispensary. Before the close of the nineteenth century he moved to Brighton, where he died suddenly on Good Friday, April 17th, 1908, at his residence, 34 Sillwood Road. He was a Fellow of the Obstetrical Society of London and a member of the British Medical Association. At the time of his death he was Consulting Surgeon to the Bedfordshire County Hospital.
