Studied at St Thomas's and Guy's Hospitals, and was for many years Surgeon to the Lincoln County Hospital, to the Asylum, the Dispensary, and to Christ's Hospital; also Surgeon to the 3rd Regiment of the Lincolnshire Militia. He died at his house in Atherstone Place, Lincoln, on August 16th, 1875, being at that time Senior Fellow.
