Details
Educated at St Bartholomew's and University College Hospitals, and in Paris. He practised at Eagle House, Blandford, Dorsetshire, where he was Medical Officer to the Union Workhouse. He died in retirement at 1 Maida Vale, London, on October 10th, 1887. His photograph is in the Fellows' Album. Publications:- *Retrospect of the Progress of Medicine and Surgery for the Years* 1841-2 (with W. Smear), Blandford, 8vo, 1842. *The Contagion of Asiatic Cholera*, London, 12mo, 1849. *The Adventures and Transformation of Nitrogen and Ammonia*, 1850. *Practical Observations on the Vaccination Question*, 1850.
