Educated at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals. He practised at 87 Upper Grosvenor Street, and also at Iver Heath (near Uxbridge), Buckinghamshire; ultimately at the latter place only. He gave attention to life insurance and the principles of insurance of unsound lives. He died on May 27th, 1878.
