Details
Born 24 August 1867 son of George Greenyer, wholesale tobacconist and Mary Ann Lewis, his wife. He was educated at Brighton Grammar School, Durham University, and St Bartholomew's Hospital. Green practised all his life at Hove, living at one time in Sackville Road and latterly in New Church Road. He was a vice-president and chairman of the council of the National Medical Union. Greenyer married 15 April 1896 Mary Jennie Douglas Lindsay, who died on 23 June 1943. He died on 24 June 1945, aged 77, survived by his two daughters, Miss Greenyer and Mrs Sargison. Publications:- A medical service for the genuinely necessitous classes of the community and them only. Hove, privately printed, 1916. Fibroids of the uterus. *Nat med J* 1915, 1, 55, 69, 88, 105, and 111.
