Details
David Elgan Eiddig Jones, who later took the surname of Elgan Jones, was educated at St Thomas's Hospital, where he served as casualty officer and as house surgeon at the country branch of the Hospital near Godalming, Surrey. He was house surgeon at Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton, and resident surgical officer at the Royal Waterloo Hospital. He practised at 52 Belsize Park, NW3, and died at Camberley on 7 April 1954, aged 30, survived by his wife, Maureen Bartholomew.
