Details
Born about 1880 he was educated at Charing Cross Hospital, where he won the Huxley and Pereira scholarships, and was demonstrator of anatomy in the medical school and clinical assistant in the ophthalmic department. He emigrated to New Zealand and practised at Queen Street, Waimate, South Canterbury. He was created OBE in the New Year honours 1955, and died early in 1958. Publication: The relation between the internal temperature and the respiratory movements of hibernating animals, with M S Pembrey. *J Physiol* 1899, 24, 305.
