Details
Educated at Birmingham University he served in the first world war as a surgical specialist in the 2nd Rawalpindi Division 1914-19 and at the Aldershot Command 1920, retiring with the rank of Major, and was subsequently promoted an Honorary Colonel RAMC. He practised during the 1920s at Johannesburg, South Africa, and during the 1930s at Port of Spain, Trinidad. Later he returned to South Africa and settled at Durban, Natal, retiring in the late 1950s to Greenwood Park, North Coast, Natal where he died before April 1962.
