Details
Educated at the University of Edinburgh, he served in the Chinese Customs as Port Health Officer at Wenchow. After the first world war he practised for a few years at Binfield, Berkshire, and then for nearly ten years at Dorchester where he was surgeon to the Dorset County Hospital. About 1934 he moved to Southampton, but soon retired to Southbourne, Bournemouth. He died on 6 April 1959 at Cliftonville, Margate, Kent.
