Details
He was educated at University College Hospital and qualified during the first world war. He served as a temporary Captain in the RAMC and won the MC. After the war he held appointments at University College Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, and then went into practice at Wimbledon, in partnership with G A Hodgson MRCS and N L M Reader FRCS. He was elected to the honorary staff of the Nelson Hospital, Merton. Brophy died before 1952. His wife died on 12 January 1969.
