Details
Barbash was a foundation Scholar of St John's College, Cambridge, graduated with honours in the Natural Sciences Tripos in 1917, and received his clinical training at St Bartholomew's Hospital where he was a house surgeon after qualifying with the Conjoint Diploma in 1919. He took the Cambridge medical degrees in 1921 and the Fellowship in 1926. He had a successful general practice at 1 Devonshire Avenue, Beeston, Nottinghamshire throughout his career, and retired to 17 Ravenshall, West Cliff Road, Bournemouth in the late 1960s. He died there on 25 August 1970, aged about seventy-five. Publications: Glucose tolerance curve in epilepsy. *Journal of Mental Science*, 1931, 77: 83-85.
