Details
Born in 1895 he received his medical education at St Thomas's Hospital where he was awarded the Musgrove Scholarship for the years 1916-1918. After being admitted a Fellow he was attached to the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford until 1939, and during the war years 1939-1945 was medical officer to the Joseph Lucas Factories, London. From 1955-1960 he practised in Guildford working in the Guildford and Godalming Hospital Group, in particular Warren Road Hospital, now known as St Luke's. After retirement he lived first at Seaford, and, later, at Sholden, Kent. He died at Westacre, Kent on 27 February 1965 aged 69, survived by his wife and two sons.
