Details
Arthur James De Bruin qualified MB BS Ceylon in 1945. He became a Fellow of the College in 1960. Appointed casualty surgeon to the Lyell McEwin Hospital in Elizabeth, South Australia in 1968, he later became medical superintendent at the same hospital. In 1973 he became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He died in July 1988 after a long illness, survived by his daughter, Joanna.
