Little is known of the career of Thomas Charles Howard Davies, beyond that he received his medical education at Cardiff, qualified MB, ChB Wales in 1940 and gained his Fellowship in 1949. He specialized in orthopaedics and was at one time a registrar at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and senior orthopaedic registrar at Morriston Hospital, Swansea. In 1965 he became consultant orthopaedic surgeon to the Monmouth Hospital Group and to the Prince of Wales Hospital, Cardiff and was still working in these positions at the time of his death, which was reported to the College by the General Medical Council on 27 May 1988.
