Details
Clarence Reginald Rapp received his medical education at the University of Toronto, qualifying in 1931. After house appointments at Toronto General Hospital and the Children's Hospital he came to Britain during the second world war and was a demonstrator in anatomy at Cambridge University, gaining his Fellowship in 1943. During his war service he rose to the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Returning to Canada after the war he was for many years surgeon at the Eastern General and Sunnybrook Hospitals in Toronto, before moving into private surgical practice. He died on 22 September 1984, aged 77, survived by his wife Mildred, son Jim and daughter Jane.
