Details
Bennett was educated at Cambridge University and University College Hospital. After qualification and a house post at University College Hospital he was a medical officer (research) at the RAF Institute of Aviation Medicine. Later he was surgical registrar at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases, Isaac Wolfson Foundation Fellow and clinical assistant in neurosurgery at the Royal Free Hospital. He published papers on the surgery of Parkinson's disease and on sensory deprivation in aviation medicine. He died on 9 September 1996, aged 76.
