Details
Frank Forty received his medical education at University College Hospital Medical School whence he qualified with the conjoint diploma in 1927. He gained the London MB BS in the following year, and passed the Fellowship examination in 1929. Thereafter he held junior posts at University College Hospital and at Birmingham General Hospital, before becoming surgeon to Edgware General Hospital. His wife Irene Maud, née Graham, also had medical qualifications: MB BCh, BAO, DPH. Mrs Forty died aged 85 on 26 April 1986. Frank Forty died aged 93 on 20 September 1996.
