Born in 1903, Robert Kenney was educated at Dalhousie University and the London Hospital. After house appointments at the Royal Sussex County Hospital and Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, Nova Scotia, he worked for many years as surgeon to the Anglo-Newfoundland Development Company. Thereafter he was a partner for many years in a practice at Southend Village, London, SE6.
He died on 5 November 1993, aged 90.
