:
Anthony Walton received his medical education at the Charing Cross Hospital Medical School and qualified MB BS in 1951. After a registrarship in orthopaedics at the Charing Cross Hospital and an appointment as medical assistant in orthopaedics at Hemel Hempstead General Hospital and the Peace Memorial Hospital, Watford, he spent the rest of his life as a general practitioner in Berkhamsted. He retired in 1983 and died on 21 December 1994.
