Details
Arthur Pereira came to St George's as a student where he won the Allingham scholarship and qualified in 1929. He did not leave St George's until he retired. He qualified in 1929, and after junior posts at St George's and the Metropolitan and Neasden Hospitals, specialised in ear nose and throat surgery at St George's and the Victoria Hospital for Children in Tite Street, Chelsea. He died on 3 December 1999, aged 93, and was survived by his wife, Jane, and stepdaughter, Amelia.
