Details:
Amarajeeva Wijesinghe received his medical education at the University of Ceylon and qualified MB BS in 1951. He passed the Fellowship examination in 1959. Thereafter he returned to Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and practised in that country, mainly in Colombo.
His death was reported to the College by his widow who, in 1993, was working as a locum consultant histopathologist at St James' Hospital in Leeds. He died on 17 September 1991.
