Was at one time Visiting Surgeon to the Liverpool Dispensary. He afterwards practised at Wrexham, Denbighshire, where he was Surgeon to the Wrexham Infirmary and Dispensary. He died in March, 1862.

He was apprenticed to Christopher Morris, of Wigan, and later, in 1830, became a student at St Bartholomew's and University College Hospitals. Was at one time Surgeon to the Darlington Dispensary and afterwards practised at 1 Trafalgar Place, West Hackney Road, London, NE, where he died on June 11th, 1859. He was a member of the Hunterian and Sydenham Societies.

Studied at St Thomas's Hospital, and practised at 40 Quay Street, Newport, Isle of Wight. He was Surgeon to the Royal Isle of Wight Infirmary, to Parkhurst Prison, and to the Isle of Wight Artillery Regiment of Militia. In 1859 he was elected an Alderman of the Borough. He died on October 7th, 1886.

Practised at Warrington Street, Ashton-under-Lyne, where he was Medical Officer of the Union Hospital and of the District Infirmary, also Certifying Factory Surgeon. He died at Ashton-under-Lyne on May 2nd, 1871.
