Studied at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals, and practised at 24 Abercromby Square, Liverpool, where he was Surgeon to the Royal Southern Hospital, to Dispensaries, and to the School for the Blind, as well as Referee to Assurance Societies. He died at Liverpool on January 22nd, 1882.

Educated at St Bartholomew's Hospital, where he was House Surgeon. He practised all his life at College Hill, Shrewsbury, where he was Surgeon to the Infirmary and Assistant Surgeon in the South Shropshire Yeomanry. He died about 1874.
