Details:
Joined the Bombay Army as Acting Assistant Surgeon in August, 1840, and the appointment was confirmed on Jan 4th, 1841. He was promoted to Surgeon on May 4th, 1854, and to Surgeon Major on January 4th, 1861. He retired in 1862, and, after residing there many years, died at Aylsham, Norfolk, on January 19th, 1903.
