Details:
Educated at Guy's Hospital. He practised as a Surgeon at Great Yarmouth, where he was at one time Surgeon to the Hospital, and at first in partnership with Dr Bateman. After retiring from the Surgeoncy of the Hospital he became a member of the Committee. He was for many years a member of the Town Council and in 1846 declined the Mayoralty, but was for a long period Chairman of the Board of Guardians. He was a member of the Norfolk and Norwich Medico-Chirurgical Society, and at the time of his death was one of the oldest inhabitants of Yarmouth. He died on November 24th. 1892.
