Educated at the Middlesex Hospital. At the time of his death he was Medical Officer of the Staveley District, Chesterfield Union, and Hon Surgeon of the 1st Derbyshire Mounted Volunteer Rifles. He died at Staveley, where he had practised, on October 25th, 1864.
