Details:
Aird McCleery Thompson qualified MB BCh in Belfast in 1921 from Queen's University where he became honorary demonstrator in anatomy. One of his first appointments was as first surgical assistant to the New End Hospital in Hampstead and his last was as senior house medical officer to the High Wycombe Hospital. He died on 11 October, 1980 survived by his wife Beryl.
