Details:
Arthur Edgar De Chazal qualified in medicine from University College Hospital in 1927 and became a Fellow of the College in 1930. He was house physician to University College Hospital before moving to the Mauritius Military Hospital in Floreal, Mauritius, where he was appointed medical specialist. He eventually became a member of the Legislative Committee of Mauritius, where he died in 1991.
