Details
Born on February 8th, 1836, studied at University College and Hospital, and, joining the Army Medical Service, was appointed Assistant Surgeon on the staff on October 1st, 1860. He was gazetted Assistant Surgeon to the 77th Foot on November 21st, 1862, but resigned on December 18th, 1867. He was next Resident Medical Officer to the Isle of Wight Infirmary, and, practising afterwards at Moat House, Kingston-on-Thames, was Surgeon to the Dispensary and to the District Branch of the South-Western Railway Friendly Society. He moved to Maple Road, Surbiton, and then to 3 Leopold Road, Wimbledon Park, whilst acting as Surgeon to the Surbiton Cottage Hospital. He died at Wimbledon on January 20th, 1900.
