Eileen Mary Vale was the elder daughter of the Rev Colwyn Vale. She studied at the London School of Medicine for Women graduating MB, BS in 1944. She passed the College Fellowship in 1969 and was living in Bexhill-on-Sea, Sussex, at the time of her death on 16 January 1977.
