Details
:
Scott Charlton qualified MB, BS Sydney in 1933 and became resident medical officer to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, in 1934. He served in the second world war as a Lieutenant-Colonel in the RAMC and eventually became honorary neurosurgeon to the Sydney Hospital and the Prince Henry Hospital. He was a member of the AMA and the BMA and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. He may have ceased to practise in the early 1970s as his name disappears from the *Australian Medical Directory* between 1972 and 1974.
He died on 13 October 1988.
