Details
:
George Angus Maclean Lee studied medicine at Dublin University and did house jobs at the Adelaide Hospital. He moved to London and worked as a surgical registrar at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School and then as a senior surgical registrar at the Hillingdon Hospital. Passing the fellowship of the college in 1952, he returned to Ireland to become a consultant surgeon in Wexford. He died on 1 February 1996.
