John Crouch Fitzherbert was born on 7 January 1920. He qualified MB, BS in Sydney and travelled to the UK, where he passed the fellowship of the college in 1952. On his return to Australia he settled in Wollongong, New South Wales.
He died on 3 July 2019, survived by his children Richard, Sarah, Robert and Belinda, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
