Details
Terence Philip Brock, known as ‘Terry’, was a consultant general surgeon at the Harold Wood Hospital in Essex. He studied medicine at the London Hospital Medical College and qualified in 1962. He was a resident accoucheur and thoracic house surgeon at the London Hospital and then a surgical registrar at the Harold Wood Hospital. He returned to the London Hospital for his senior surgical registrar post and later became a first assistant there. He went on to become a senior lecturer in surgery at the London Hospital Medical College and an honorary consultant surgeon for the Newham Health District, and subsequently became a consultant at the Harold Wood Hospital. He was also an examiner in surgery for the University of London. Terry Brock died on 26 April 2002. He was 82.
