Born on 17 July 1926, Alimadad Moulabux Jatoi qualified MB,BS in Bombay in 1950. He passed the fellowship of the college in 1956 and worked in hospitals in the UK while living in Stoke-on-Trent. Moving to America, he became a general surgeon in the Dallas Fort Worth area of Texas and was a resident of Colleyville where he practiced for many years. He died on 19 September 2015 aged 89. His wife, Alcina Frances, predeceased him in 2011 and he was survived by their sons, Imdadali and Ismail, and daughter Aminah. He was also survived by his grandchildren Idris, Atifah, Isak, Fatima, Umar, Hanaa, Ibrahim and Yacoob.
